-Why I do it-

Art saved my life. Adolescence in Chicago was gritty and uncertain during the 90’s. A combination of music, visual art, and creative writing helped me channel my energy into something positive.

Additionally, I witnessed the healing power of art first hand as I surrounded myself with the classics in all three mediums. I’d listen to Miles Davis and Public Enemy as I wrote short stories about made up characters from imaginary cities that were weird and interesting. I’d read Maya Angelou and Hemingway while jotting down witty sixteens I could test out in cyphers that had the freshest beats. I’d wear thrift finds before it was cool and on trend as I strolled the lakefront searching for signs and waiting for downloads about which path to take for my future.

Then, later in life I discovered I had the ability to see, as an artist. Life was never about what I looked at but what I saw; color. In 2023 I started a company dedicated to creating, finding, and featuring the creative arts in all forms. Now I want to make a difference and be a beacon for others.

While the acclaim feels nice, the real reason I do what I do is simple; I want to INSPIRE :) Take the journey of discovery with me! #ARTCRY
